Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

What did you do to your TJ today?

Since the temperatures are getting warmer here in FL; I decided it was time to refresh the engine coolant before it REALLY gets hot.....
Drained the radiator and most of what was in the cooling passages. Refilled with distilled water, ran the engine and the drained again.
Flushed the cooling system, filled with distilled water twice, ran the engine and drained.
Filled with 10+ quarts of Zerex G05.
Engine is running cool and will keep an eye on the coolant reservoir for burps of air.

No one at work gets excited like people do here when I tell them what I did to my TJ. 😄

At work we have a teams chat room on our computers….. they’ve just created a new chat room called ‘ chat room for anything NOT Jeep related ‘ …. Anyone would think that’s all I talk about 😂

Dash parts looking beautiful!! That's going to look so good when it goes make together!

While you're at it updating the dash - you may as well fix that factory defect that incorrectly installed the steering wheel on the wrong side. Trust me - your passengers in the right front seat will really appreciate it!! (y)

Haha thanks… @02GreenTJ was just out here in New Zealand I took him and his girlfriend out for the day in the Jeep… he said it felt pretty weird sitting in the drivers seat with no steering wheel 😂

It was a weird feeling for sure! You have a killer jeep and are an even better guide. I have to shamelessly derail this thread with a couple photos. Really nice to meet you and I look forward to seeing the progress on your rig!

If anyone ever finds themselves down under @Kiwi TJ is your man for some awesome local spots and a ride in a wrong hand drive tj!

You posted some good @Kiwi TJ type scenery pics but where's the food pic?

Yesterday, I helped my son install the AX15 he recently rebuilt. His 1st go round, he unknowingly broke a shift fork bolt, but @NovakConversions hooked us up with a new one. I followed behind him on his test drive and all seems good!! Not bad for a 21 year old on a plywood bench in an overloaded garage!! I'm proud of him!!

We also found out his vac line is missing a reservoir at the end, so I corked the open end with my finger and his heater settings all worked properly, so he's probably going to just cap the end and call it good. Apparently it hasn't worked properly for a VERY long time because chunks and junk spewed out of the floor and face vents!!
