What did you do to your TJ today?

My radio has an input for a back up camera.

Anyone know if I can splice the wires and use one camera for both? I will need the rear view always on and the back up on only when I’m in reverse.

A video splitter might work. I'd ask Wolfbox, you can ask them a question through Amazon and they are good about responding.
Is your spare tire really 19 years old?

Thanks.

If that’s what the date code says then it could be. I bought a set of 5 Moab’s and only this rim had rubber. While debating what size off road tire I found a sweetheart deal for 4 Moab’s with newly mounted all season tires so I threw this on as a spare last month as it’s the same height as the new tires.

I have decided on my final tire size so I will get the original 4 rims plus this spare mounted before snow fall up here in the mountains.

I truly don’t want to be disrespectful, but there is certainly a lot of cold lap, and undercut on a lot of those welds. I would suggest you consider looking for some side by side guidance and get a second opinion prior to relying on there strength and longevity.
Just sayin.

You're not being disrespectful at all, it's helpful. Someone else has already reached out suggesting that I grind some of them off and redo them.
I hope this helps:
when welding, watching the puddle also includes looking at both pieces to watch them melt together the same. Watch that one side is not hotter than the other. They both should have equal red. On some of your tube welds it looks as though the bracket was hotter than the tube and it melted onto the tube instead of blending/melting together.

by means I am no pro but that is how it has been explained to me. This also helps when welding different thicknesses together. Just make sure they melt evenly by placing more heat on the thick side.

Drilled and mounted the Wolfbox rear view mirror camera. As I need to drive down the hill because the Loctite did not hold the weight of the mirror and it’s just sitting on my dash if figured I’ll get a pair of stainless nuts and bolts so I just zip tied it in place.

Also anyone have a link to the write up for the three contact mod between the back door and the interior chassis?

I had to replace my windshield a couple of weeks ago. The mirror button that Safelite had on the windshield popped off after about 36 hours with the Wolfbox on it with no damage to the glass, thankfully. I attempted to glue it back on, but even after letting it set for 24 hours without a mirror, it too popped off withing an hour of having the Wolfbox on it. I've got a "better" glue kit to try today, we shall see.

In my experience with gluing those buttons on, it’s best to have just a tiny bit of the glue

TJ's loaded up and ready to head to Windrock this weekend. Can't wait to put the new Crawler Hauler through its paces to see what I need to change/fix. Took it out for a drive after getting it loaded up to get acquired with it before driving 4.5 hours Thursday.

Well, we had another warm, sunny day in beautiful Seabeck, WA. I was able install the windows in the new sailcloth Bestop replace-a-top with minimal struggles! Love it!!😍

I’m looking at the same thing to replace mine…. Can you take a close-up pic of the sail cloth itself please?
I just want to see what the material looks like… how smooth it is

Not sure how good the photo will turn out since I had to shrink it to post. It’s the standard Bestop black sailcloth, FWIW
