What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed the quadratec bumper yesterday. Those assholes powdercoated the bolts on the bull bar portion so the locknuts wouldn't thread on. Had to use paint stripper, only on the bolts, and a wire freaking brush to get enough coat off to thread the lock nuts on and install that part onto the bumper. Warn VR came yesterday. Not sure I'm gonna install it just yet. Jeep looks, well...like it needs a lift.
Bumpers, sliders, and stock height with stock wheels/normal tires.
Yeah, you’re probably going to want to wait to add your winch until after you change the springs. My stock ones were very squatty and worn out. BDS make coil springs that ride nice and aren’t very expensive. About $98 per spring. I went with those and Rancho 5000 shocks.

My TJ has 42,000 miles on it. Nothing on this thing is worn out, haha. It's getting a lift, though. Rockjock 4" johnny joint setup.

Installed the Uniden CMX760 CB. Great compact unit. Used some large fender washers to secure it under the steering column (it’s upside down to get the RJ45 connection closer to the right of column). Used existing dash panel screw for the mic holder. No drilling, clean install, and works great. Have it connected to a Firestik antenna.

Did it get the Zorba stamp of approval before installation?
p.s. Why is your Jeep interior so clean? No mud in ATL?

Got the hand throttle cable through the firewall - drilled a 3/8" hole, grommeted it, then sealed it with RTV once the cable was through. Cable is now coiled up on top of the air pipe - need to get all the fiddly bits together to actually tie it into the throttle assy.View attachment 280492
So you're giving your jeep a handy. Good for you.
