I went with the Daytona 12 ton. Works for me and fits in my storage area. This the jack that comes in the JKU. I don't have my OEM to see how that would work.

Carry a pair of blocks. Cut them from a 2x8, fasten a rope/web strap to each. Paint if you're feeling creative.
At first post, I thought you were looking for an implement/Jack-All type . . . .

Take that bottle jack and put it in the corner
I store them upright, so I am not sure if it would leak or not.
That's why I showed him in the photo how to position the factory jack it so it reaches the axle. Alternatively, if my above jacking method isn't liked, carry a short 4x4 block of wood to set the factory jack on.

He said it doesn’t reach, which means your method doesn’t work for him. The response you received wasn’t the emotional twaddle that you implied it to be. Do you need to go to moderator school…or just honesty school?

I typically don’t defend (especially Jerry)but Jerry offered him 2 viable solutions here;
1- use Jack as per his photo, under the CA and OP’s would work there giving him about 3” more height
2- a block of wood, which we all know works.
That’s not the problem here
I appreciate your efforts to provide a solution.

Then what is the problem? His wife’s Jack won’t lift the Jeep on the tube. I’m f he moves to the CA it will, if he adds blocks of wood it will.
These were Jerry’s solutions. I typically don’t share my opinions or ideas here only concrete answers if I have em.
Either of Jerry’s options actually work,
I’ll go back to my garage
I need a new jack, I used to carrry a AC Delco bottle jack, It's just shy of lifting my Jeep w/o a block of wood so i've always hated it, and now its going out. I'm looking at the Daytona bottle jack at HF. I would need the 12 as it lifts to 18-5/8" and my front axle is 16" to the bottom. I do have a tube support that adds an inch to the jack, but wondering if there is a better option.

You need to lighten up. First warning, next one comes with a suspension. I thought we already spoke about this? It’s OK to have differences, but you can be much more tactful with your responses.
Question about Jacks, what do folks use on the open road? I'd like a Jack that travels easily as the Jeep didn't come with one. Add the wheels are pretty frigg'n heavy. I've tweaked my back before and definitely would like to avoid. It wouldn't be too bad to have it lift it up to put it back on the mount on the back. Curious to see what folks use. Thanks !
