Mine was a 65 CJ-5 with the Hurricane 134. I found a wrecked Jeep in the J-yard with a 327. I bought the 327, T-98 and exhaust for $200, intending to put it in the CJ-5, but I traded it for a Honda 3-wheeler.

I traded a 83 Mustang for the Jeep, then a couple years later, traded the Jeep for a 72 VW camper van. I can't find a pic of the Mustang or Jeep, but here is the VW.

Mine was a red '98 Cherokee Sport 4-door. It was my first vehicle but sadly was totalled after only about 3 months when I was caught in the middle of a four car wreck coming home from school (I wasn't at fault).

I've owned 3 and all were TJs.

If you don't require strict ownership as a criteria, my dad had a Orvis edition ZJ with a V8 that I drove a lot in high school. It's the only Chrysler vehicle I've ever known him to own. His had a brush guard front bumper and taillight guards that reminded me of the Explorers in Jurassic Park. I was mostly into sporty cars at the time but I still felt pretty cool driving it.

Found a picture of the day I brought it home from the shop.

had a spring over axle lift done with a Detroit locker. American racing wheels and 33" BF Goodrich M/T's. They also swapped the 242 engine for a 304 and automatic from a 1979 donor. Ran it like this for about 10 years. It will always be my all-time favorite Jeep.

A 87 red YJ with the 4.2 inline. Had it for about 9 years, sold it and bought a 55 Willys Truck which I restored. I kept it for about 5 years as my DD. Life come along and couldn’t put money into to paint it, install a the stock overdrive etc. It ran fantastic, other than during the summers sometimes the temp would climb a little bit. Decided family with do better with something diffferent. A guy from Washington came down and towed it back. I wish I had that truck back!

We've had our GC Trailhawk since 2018 and love it! My wife thought she wanted a 4Runner and I convinced her to look at the Jeep and she's loved every moment of it and is so glad she didn't get a 4Runner.

My first VW was a ratty old 63 Type 1. Then a 71 Type 2. Then a 58 Single Cab.

Traded that for a 61 Sundial Camper.

Traded the 61 Sundial for a 66 SO-42 Westy.

While I had the Westy, bought a pre-factory change over 55 US Spec 3-Fold ragtop.

While I had those, bought a 63 Turkis Standard.
