What's the 1 or 2 things you miss from the old days?

I really enjoy the stories (early on) in this thread. I try to keep that kind of wheeling alive. Next time you're out there keep it in your head. Other than locked gates we make it what it is out there.
 
Maxxis makes buckshot 2, pretty decent tire. I ran them when I first bought my heap.
Not even in the same ballpark, the old Gateway Buckshot Mudders had 30/32nds of tread. Came in N, P and Q sizes (31,33 and 36 inch tall) and were 9.50 wide. Came in 15 and 16 inch rim size and bias ply and radial too. They had a whine to them that would turn heads everywhere you went, on a CJ 5 they would generally last a year or so on pavement driving 80 miles round trip a day to work and wheeling every Saturday.

Going to Blockbuster to brows the DVDs for date night with the wife.
 
I like the Buckshot Mudder but these are my tires so that probably isn't a surprise.
