Wildman's TJ is getting a face lift

Put the thicker heat shielding on the transmission tunnel.

It helps more than the other shielding I'd installed. But still warmer than I'd like.

I finally found the leak in my brake system. And it wasn't any of the flares or lines I'd made. And it wasn't leaking all the time either. But it was the rear brake line going into the distribution block. Now to just get all the air out of the rear lines and I should be OK.

Congrats! I've been off the thread a few days. Looks like major progress made! Those test runs are a blessing to see!

On a side-note, is the York belt tight? Looks to have a bit of slack/bounce in it. Impossible to tell from video audio but curious it that's causing a slight squeal in the video?

The York belt could get tightened down a little more but the chirps you're hearing in the video is the power steering pulley. I don't know why it's chirping either except that I might have air in the system still. I know it's the power steering pulley because I put some soap on it and it stopped.
I did the PSC bleeding for the Hydro-Vac again today and it seemed to help some.
The frustrating part on the York is that I've tried a 27" belt and it too tight then a 27.5" and it was way too loose and now have a 27.25" belt on it and I'm almost out of adjustment.

Jeff,
Forgot to take a picture of how I've got it mounted but my cables connected to the Lowrance GPS.

It's showing me at my location even inside my garage.

Cool. The Roll and Pitch data in the top left corner comes from the remote antenna. It also provides direction to the unit when not moving. But, it requires its own power source.

Did you mount it to the cage?

Cool, I'll have to get the remote antenna mounted than. I was just curious if it's work with the old plugs from my power cable & my antenna. I was surprised it did.

Yes & No... I had a flat plate that I had mine mounted onto so I'm using that. I've got to make a few mods still but it'll work.

The remote antenna must be different than the one I have.

This antenna has it's own power also so I'm going to see if I can just hook up the other antenna to my cables first.

I ran the bolt through a hole I'd had a nutzert installed in after removing the nutzert.

It'd take a lot of effort to remove it again and you'd need a custom wrench since there's not enough room for a standard length wrench.

I'm going to put the two bolts back in to keep it from possibly rotating.

Well I still don't have the brakes fixed YET... DAMN IT... So I may have to build new hard lines. The one thing I can say for sure is that it's in the rear axle.

Took it for a short drive and confirmed that I'd got the O/D working but I don't have the O/D light working yet. Will have to play with that part of it some more.

Also changed out the York belt for the 27" belt and got it readjusted.

ok new video request. Muddy Rooster tails!

You know using excessive throttle & wheel spin is considered resource damage and doesn't follow the Tread Lightly program... But I'll see what I can do when the time comes.

Or wait for it to snow and I'll do some roosting White stuff all over the place.

Go to Elbe.....

Yep, Haven't been there since 2005 so I'm sure it's changed a LOT. I'm sure Reiter has some spots where some excessive wheel speed/spin could happen too.

Shows you how long ago this was, it still had fenders and everything.
