Windsheild frame rot

Sorry guys 1 more question. What gasket or seals do I need to put on the frame when changing it. Is there a conplete kit? I see I need a header seal but what else?I have a hard top on it. The glas will be installed by safelite.

You can transfer your header seal to your new frame. Just get some 3M weather strip adhesive

I eould like to put all new on seeing is out. Do not to find out later that it leaks.

The seal between the window frame and cowl is all I can think of

The I think there are ones running up the side too for the door seals. I think they can be kinda pricey though. If yours are fine, and will swap over, I would do that. I don't think it would be hard to swap the sides out if you had leaking issues down the road

Have you contacted safelite to see if you can pay for the windshield replacement up front, come in with the new frame to have the glass removed, and then get the frame back before they put in the new windshield. Then come back with the freshly painted/repaired frame for them to put the glass in?

I'd imagine this wouldn't be a one-off request for them. Plenty of car enthusiast in the sea...
