TJ frame drain holes

Does the frame have drain holes for accumulated water drilled into the lowest point?
I washed it today and noticed water pooled inside the frame in what appears to be a drain hole but this is located well above the lowest point so the rinse water just sat there....
I’m in eastern Canada where vehicles get absolutely drenched in road salt for 6 months of the year. This Jeep has been stored for most winters and is in good shape but conditions are really nasty here and this is a recipe for accelerated rust and frame rot.

Drill 1/2" front and rear before it's too late.

15mm hole centered 117mm behind the front control arm mounts and the same in front of the rear control arm mounts. Prime and paint the holes. Rinse weekly. Good to go.

Wow. Pathetic and unacceptable engineering. Had exactly the same problem with my 94 Harley dresser. The frame was engineered to collect water at the lowest points of the downtubes on back of the engine, with absolutely no way for the water to drain out so most all of the 1991 - 1995's had frame rot from within. Geez...it's not rocket science. Thanks for the info. Will break out the drill tomorrow.

glowell222 seems to have a better suggestion than what I did. I drilled my 4 drain holes through the holes that are already in my control arm mounts because I figured those mounts would keep the frame strong. I don't remember the size I drilled, 1/2" maybe, but I end up spending most of my clean-out-the-frame time poking something up in there to unclog them.

Part of me wants to make the holes I already drilled bigger but that may weaken the control arm mounts so I'll probably just add those bigger holes when I'm ready to clean out the frame next spring.
