What did you do to your TJ today?

Finished one job and straight off to the next ... worked till midnight in this brand new warehouse, putting in some safety bollards
Its usually a 20 foot car ( Looks good from 20 feet) but had to take some pics as Bruiser looked so good in the lighting they had.....I swear I heard my TJ saying "I'm ready for my close up now" lol

Is that the daily driver enduro? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on ordering seats myself. Just can’t decide what I want yet.
It’s the Enduro Recliner, all black, no piping, Italia stitching, w/ heated seat option. I chose vinyl for ease of cleaning (dog tracks in mud).

Big thanks to @Jerry Bransford for suggesting no piping (lack of durability).

I didn’t choose any extra height and it’s good for my proportionate 6’2 height.

Just ordered two teraflex control arm joint rebuild kits, savvy transfer case shifter and savvy 1.25 body lift. Trying to determine if a MML or just lowering the fan shroud would be better. Any benefits to one over the other?

These are very comfy and not too much bolstering. I’m 230lbs and could probably be 280lbs+ and still be comfy.

I went with this over the mastercraft Baja RS largely because I wanted all black vinyl. I doubt you can go wrong with either option.

Also, I wanted a recliner due to my bad back and because I wanted full tilt in case I ever need to pull over on the road to rest. Jerry and others have been very happy with the non-reclining option.

The options add up fast, but I decided to wait until I could afford exactly what I wanted.

MML will allow you to do a Tummy Tuck to the transmission. The MML is pretty easy to do. I suggest going with the block style MML and reusing or purchasing OEM motor mounts since the rubber is superior to aftermarket options (less vibrations).

Yea if I do MML lift I’m definitely going with spacers. I think for now I’ll drill new holes in the fan shroud and see how that works then make a decision based on that.
I’ve really got to get busy on this thing. I’ve got an old ford truck in my shop right now about halfway through a full brake system replacement.
I’ve got a pile of parts waiting to go on the tj.
Rockjock steering, revolution USA front and rear chromoly axles, timken unit bearings, spicer ball joints and now the control arm joints, shifter cable and BL will be added to the pile. Ugh. Lol.

I can relate! I'm finally ready for the regear and waiting on the local guru's schedule to free up. I waited a long time (since July) for the parts to all arrive: R&G rear axles and 5.38 gears, master bearing kit, front inner axles (to pair w/ Yukon's 30 spline hub kit), Eaton F/R lockers (I'll sell the stock 4.10s and lockers), and 5x5.5 wheels (with proper backspacing and large enough center bore). Blaine was super helpful and super quick in mating his BBK to the hub kit so all would assemble properly for the installer.

I modified my panel for the locker switches many months ago anticipating the installation. I just pulled the tire carrier bumper need to install the Exogate and install a front-facing camera (switches and diodes are on the way). I want full functionality for the F/R camera via switches and auto-on for the rear when in reverse. My deck only has one video input so I need to make them all work without conflicting the signals. I believe I can make it work (at least it will be fun trying).

I'm super busy in law school (lectures/veteran law clinic/EIC of the law-tech journal) and have knee surgery next Friday. Also, this long haul covid bs has really hurt my memory, caused heavy fatigue, and increased my lower back pain. I got covid really bad one day after my 4-year-old doggy daughter passed away next to me in bed so I got hit really hard (because I was already sick from that when my buddy visited to console me and accidentally gave me covid, which sent me to the ER three times). I used to be able to go non-stop but it's been a legit grind for about a year with long haul. I just pretend that this is how it is for someone like my grandpa who's 94 so I do my best to keep up the good fight.

Did you choose the enduro over the classic for ease of getting in and out or some other reason? If you are open to it, I would love the opportunity to check them out after you install them.

Multiple reasons tbh:

- I wanted to be able to adjust things as needed for my back.
- Sometimes I haul larger items on the rear-bench seat (boxes for UPS, etc.) that require the front seat to be adjusted.
- I want the option to recline the seat for naps (as needed on long trips or if I'm off the grid without camping gear).

You can definitely sit in the seats (I'll be around).

I can't install them until after the Rugged Ridge levers arrive, which will be right around the time that I get knee surgery (next Friday). Might need about 3-4 weeks before I do the installation (hopefully sooner!). I'll try to update this thread once they are installed, but feel free to reach out in case it slips my mind.
