Well since it’s near impossible to get ahold of anyone at savvy and I really wanted that front bumper, do you guys recommend anything else that would be pretty similar to the savvy TJ front bumper? Or perhaps know when savvy will have more available?? Thanks everyone!

Genright, motobilt, undercover fab, barnes4wd all make great bumpers

Depends on the definition of "great" when it comes to Genright front bumpers in Aluminium.

@98chilipepper look at Motobilt offerings. There are folks here that have them, and folks like @jjvw and @rasband have modified them a little to get it close to Savvy. I'll find and share the posts that I've bookmarked tomorrow. You may or may not care for (or need) the mods.

Are you planning to run the factory sway bar? Or something like the AntiRock or SwayLoc?

Yes there is 1 I really like from motobilt, I would see if maybe a shop could weld on a hoop in the front

If you place an order with Savvy, they will get you a bumper. They are worth the wait.
Yummy

Are the Savvy bumpers very similar to the old Currie bumpers? This is the 54" version but Currie had a 45" as well. And different hoop options as well. Would like to swap the hood hoop for a winch hoop.

I have an antirock installed already
I have a Savvy on my TJ, but also had a UCF Ultra Clearance on my LJ that I liked. It was steel and weighed around 28 lbs. The version I had was with a hoop, which I don't see now. You could ask them if it's still available. @DuncLJ runs the aluminum version.

Steel:

I have the Warn rock crawler stubby. It's not quite as stubby as the UCF, it's more similar to the Savvy in size and shape, but it's steel. Comes with a fairlead mount but no hoop.

A couple of notes:

1. The top of the bumper goes back a bit, so with an AntiRock or SwayLoc you'll want to be mindful of how long your sway links are set, because if they're long enough, the arms may hit the bumper. Mine are set so that the arms clear the bumper by a paper thickness at full stuff.
2. Install your front license plate before you mount the bumper, because the hardware is just a pair of bolts and nylon insert locknuts, and the front frame crossmember makes it nearly impossible to get a hand in there to hold the nut in place to get it started. Better yet, get a fairlead license plate mount.

My TJ came with the Savvy bumper and while I would have preferred it having the natural aluminum finish it doesn't look too bad powder coated either. I'd wait on the Savvy, it has a superb design.
