1997 "beater bomb"

Damn! You need to order one of those "Wide Load" banners that they hang on the back of trucks carrying huge loads.

Are you going to trailer it?
Yep. Whole reason I sold my JKU, tired f working on it Sunday night to drive to wrk monday.... but I'll street the crap out of it as soon as the sun is out.

Makes perfect sense. Definitely don't want to have a car as your daily if you're working on it all the time. One more reason my TJ is not my daily.

Hated it.. ball joints was my main issue.. death whole all the time.

Yes, I hear the JKs for whatever reason are pretty prone to death wobble.

On thing they use the wrong size bolt for track bar, it's metric, when a 9/16 is a perfect fit.

Interesting! I would have thought they'd use all SAE bolts since it's an American vehicle.

Not a whole lot of progress, just bad news on my steering. Have to buy all new knuckles, hi steer, and TREs.... not looking to drop 1k... considering I just bought a 3.5 lift for my daily xj, and JK rubi wheels.

Some goodies

What happened to the existing steering?
It was cobbled up steel arms welded to the cast knuckles.. and no studs, just bolts, that they had welded the steel hi-hi-speed arms.. cobbled up... oh and one
Was over the lion of the ball joint so if it broke there was no changing it.

Few options are use the extra stock ford arms ( which my drag link and track bar will be way off).

2. Buy two new Reid knuckles, hi-speed artec arms and all the goodies to make my own.

3. Buy one Reid knuckle and one hi-speed arm so at least my drag like and the truck bar are at the same angle.

I'm leaning toward #3. Trying trying to buy local, but I can get it way cheaper on ebay.
