Yes correct. Took a while to get used to it but it's quick and easy to do. Unzip it about 3/4 of the way to toss it up far enough.

I only found out from a traffic cop years ago, I was sitting at a light waiting for the turn signal on my motorbike that wouldn't change, he was behind me got out and said they turn a blind eye to bikes that go forward of the stop line to allow a car to set it off. my Harley used to set them off but Triumph never did. I believe they are more sensitive now since they started putting push bike lanes in every road.

The law here in Kansas states that a motorcycle can run a red light after waiting “a reasonable amount of time”. Most intersections that have stop lights have either the magnetic or the weight sensors here, but motorcycles still don’t set those off most of the time.

I'm an engineer and use the units interchangeably. Half our problems were metric, half english. But the maths I do make the difference negligible once you get past the easy stuff.

English units make sense in that they started out human based. A typical inch is the distance from the knuckle on your forefinger to the tip. A typical foot is the length of a forearm or my foot.

A mile is sort of metric. It's 1000 paces (2 steps) of a marching Roman soldier.

The nice thing about english is my 3/8 inch socket never gets lost while my 10mm are always missing.

Upgraded the interior lights to LED. Nice easy upgrade, I recommend it if you haven’t done it yet.

All of the things I didn't need to know were doable or need to be on my list of things to do..... That dash looks good. I was just thinking the other day "I wonder if there's an LED bulb replacement for the dome light?".

I moved one step closer to finding out if I'll like soft half doors. I switched out the old style latches so they'll accept the tj loops.

Came into a bit of extra dough - so I ordered a Powertrax no-slip for the front D-30. Before the price goes up and/or it becomes unavailable. Its gonna be a bit before I get it installed, but at least I'll have it.

Pretty easy install, I didn’t have to remove the tie rod.
