Question, do your lights change by pressure pad in the road?
Most traffic lights in Australia use pressure pads built into the road, priority road lights stay green until a vehicle comes from a non priority road and the weight of the vehicle changes the light.

More than once I have had to tell old codgers to move forward towards the stop line because I have been stuck behind with the light not changing because they are too far back to activate the pressure pad!

Yes the lights do trigger by a pressure pad, Soon I'll have the roof off and can look over the windshield.

Have to slap a new ignition coil in the jeep today. While i’m at it, going to do a much needed tune up. Plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and a new air filter. About to turn over 260k miles.

Drove my TJ to the doctor this morning. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to climb in it with a back brace on. Damn herniated disk in my back and I need surgery for another issue too. I'm not selling this Jeep, no matter what.

I’ve been living with 2 herniated discs for over 9 years. I have a daily workout routine on my home gym that helps, but I still endure some pain. Dr. said he wanted to go through the front of my throat to repair them and I told him to pound sand.
Hell I’m 71 and still get around pretty good. Even launch and retrieve my boat alone.

All of the things I didn't need to know were doable or need to be on my list of things to do..... That dash looks good. I was just thinking the other day "I wonder if there's an LED bulb replacement for the dome light?".

I ordered front and rear coil springs (Moog 3226/3227) and new front/rear isolators from Rock Auto.

I didn't plan on ordering or doing this job in the near future but the 3227s were a warehouse closeout special priced at $44 and change.

It was a roll of the dice and they may end up being very old stock; but I figured I'll never beat that price and I can't see how time on a shelf would mess up a coil spring.

Added these babies. Still need to hook up the turn signals but I got the DRLs wired up with a fuse tap so they only come on when the car turns on.

Hey, I just did that very same thing on Saturday! I had trouble with the dome lights. The LED module is actually a fair bit longer than the incandescent bulb, and I didn't notice it at first. The first LED module got ruined in the learning process. A new one arrived today, so I'll fix that tonight. I also had trouble with the indicator LED for my rear window defroster. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to make consistent contact, so I ended up going back to the OEM bulb for that. It doesn't really matter because it lights up an amber piece of plastic, so the color difference isn't apparent like all the other white LEDs.

I didn't have any factory switches in my Jeep so didn't need to worry about those. I fried one of the footwell lights and blew a fuse somehow installing those. The new one is on its way, but that was the only issue I had.

Finally got the rear Rancho RS5000X shocks and bumper stops installed. If my TJ didn't have a slight lift, I don't think I would have been able to change them.

New adjustable panhard rod fitted today……. Then went for a recheck and past the TJ’s health and safety check for another six months..
It certainly steers better now

I thought it was the width of a standard Roman empire road. But the county I work for had a 1910's gold ore hauling railroad, ( tramway ) that had a 24" gauge and locomotives with all the axles on the locomotive and tender that were powered, ( Shay )

Those things are great. I rode in one up in Santa Cruz a few years ago, well maybe decades ago.
