Tan color seats, gray interior

I picked up these seats to replace what I had cause it easier for my kid to jump in the back seat, but now the gray dash and door panels dont match.

Thinking about painting the dash and door panles tan color or maybe go with a seat cover.

Any suggestions?

I’d get seat covers that matched the dash before painting all the plastics. Most people spray paint them and without much care so it comes out looking like a spray painted dash…

Other options I’d consider before painting a dash is buying a black dash off ebay or find matching seats.

I do have matching seats. Just that they dont recline as i would like then to.

Your two seats match each other, being that they are both brown..but what I meant was matching the dash and carpet color and the seat color, like picking up a pair of black seats.

Noh! Too easy is no fun. WIll probably strip the dash and paint it black, that way I can use any seat color, including those I already have.

Be sure to do your homework on the SEM paints and how to prep so it doesnt look like it's been spray painted in place with no prep.

Or jut buy a black dash.

It doesn't look painted if you use the vinyl and fabric paint. I have painted the dash you see in the car before. Just couldnt decide if painting the dash to match the seats will look good.

are the factory seat covers on your old seats in good shape? if so, why not swap them over to the new seats? just a thought.

They aren't covers, and the old seats are not the same, the new seats our out of a 2005 TJ

I understand that painting the interior parts black would make it match everything. But that sounds like a lot of work compared to putting on some well fitting seat covers. But hey if painting is the route you want then good luck to you, prep is 90% of any paint job

was referring to the factory upholstery. i’ve removed it on my f-150 to replace a broken spring in the drivers seat. if seats were the same you could swap them out. it was fairly easy to do.

Already painted. Much easier, and came out great.
