Should I be concerned about Savvy Off Road?

Why? They don't seem to have a problem selling their items. I'm neither a fanboy or hater. If I like the design of their items and I can wait I'll buy.

X2 above.

But I will add.. that automation in a business process is simple as Fu@k.

It is extremely easy to setup a process in MS Office (sharepoint > powerautomate > and outlook) to send out scheduled status updates, which would probably placate the majority of complaints.

Not to mention automated text messages.

Due to automation programs and apps, there really is no excuse for poor communication and poor customer service in today's business environment.... other than "They don't care enough, or don't know enough."

Savvy probably "doesn't know enough."

I have contracted with businesses that had antiquated business processes... which caused customer service to suffer. Enacting change can be tough when the owner is afraid of change and is out of the loop.

I didn’t know about all these changes,or I probably would have got savvy,I went with Novak and just wd-40 on occasion and it’s been fine so far
Use an actual lubricant and it'll last longer than the WD-40. WD-40 is technically classified as a solvent, not a lubricant, and its viscosity is so light it evaporates quickly. WD-40's marketing department has bamboozled the world into thinking it can do anything and everything.

I don’t mind waiting for quality, I just prefer SOME communication from the vendor.

I don't think this is unreasonable, especially in 2022. How hard is it to send an e-mail saying we are confirming your order and it should be shipping out in "X" number of days. I've ordered parts from shops smaller than Savvy where the guy sending the e-mails is literally the one hand-building the shit and I still receive that communication.

With that said I've also dealt with vendors for work where we ordered $100,000+ of IT equipment and their response to our inquiry about order status is "something something COVID, we aren't sure, supply chain, blah blah, shipping companies suck,". So there is that.

There is no question about the quality of their stuff, but they HAVE to be losing business if their CS is this bad.

Water Displacement is what the WD stands for isn’t it?

If you want to buy a Savvy shifter, camp out on Amazon until they say its in stock then order it immediately. That's what I did, and it showed up quickly. Here's the link, it is currently OOS: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073L4L4R5/?tag=wranglerorg-20

I have no personal experience dealing with Savvy directly - but I do agree that in 2022, their customer service could be better from everything I'm hearing. Automated status emails (NEVER texts) are an easy thing....

I received an automated e-mail from Savvy when I ordered in June and then another e-mail for shipping information. Just no official response when I contacted them. I guess you could count an automated shipping e-mail the day after I texted them.

Only thing I hate about savvy ...
