i change my oil and filter every 5000 miles. i’m also one to crank my vehicles and let them at least get partially warmed up before heading out.
I used to ride dirt bikes with a guy- He thought that a modern bike would foul a spark plug like they did back in the late 70s-
He would crank his bike and just rip on it immediately- And the particular bike he had was pretty bulletproof
We kept trying to tell him that there were dissimilar metals,etc- Well sure enough he trashed it- And this was a bike that was known for going 300 plus hours on a top end- It looked brand new and ended up getting sold for nearly nothing.
Really there is a balance between proper warm up and excess of idling.

Yep, and excessive idling can do some damage and make shinny cylinder walls. But don't tell the 3/4 ton diesel truck boys that.
both owners manuals for my two harley’s tell you to warm up the bike some before taking off and ride easy until fully a operating temperature. my sportster had a carb. and you really had to let it run with some choke/enricher before taking off. choke is my word enricher is harley’s term. kinda like an idle air control on a efi engine. doging a harley engine while cold is bad on the engine seals. more seals and o- rings than actual gaskets in a modern harley engine so they say.

You're in Saska-bush, so you probably have a block heater. Plug in and have your timer on for an hour before you leave. Few $$ for juice . . .
We had the logging trucks plugged in winter and summer . . . . . maintenance costs went down significantly.

Sounds like the OP has enough run time to preclude any problems. Mine is usually up to temp in less than 5 minutes from starting.

Oh you bet I’ve got a block heater haha, pretty well mandatory out here unless you don’t at all care for your vehicle.
Last year we hit the coldest I’ve ever seen. -40 but -55C w/ wind (-67F w/ wind). We’ve seen -40 plenty but never -55 with wind.
Course we really don’t start vehicles in much colder than -35C (-31F).
