Dealer wants $15,400. It has hail damage on the hood, wobble at 45 mph, and rear locker will not engage. They will fix it all and sell for 15,400. Sound like a good deal? Thanks

It's in Austin, just up the road from me. It has spent some of its life in Georgia and Alabama
I inspected the frame pretty much all the way around. I didn't see and rust on the rails at all
Price seems about right (if they fix the issues) for these high inflation times. I got lucky and paid $9,500 for my one owner Texas Rubicon (pre-Covid/Brandon).

How mechanically inclined are you? You can fix that stuff (maybe not the hail damage) yourself and pocket the change. I'd ask them what their price is without fixing anything and then knock 2 K off that. They will probably say no, but at least you're talking at that point.
The hail damage and locker are probably easy enough fixes for them.

I wouldn't say death wobble and not overly violent. It starts at anout 42 mph and goes away over 45 mph
The locker parts are pretty much non existent. So whether they can fix it is going to depend on what's wrong. Bad pump, bad air hose, hose off inside of diff are easily fixed. If the actuator inside the diff has blown, I'm not sure that is available new.
Asking price was 15,999. They are willing to fix everything but won't go lower than 15,400
