Throw away! What'cha got?
Bummer.I don't remember now. That was last night, after a few glasses of vino, lol!
Bummer.
@Squatch , if all you wanna do is run 31’s, get a 2.5 OME or the H&R with new shocks, then see what you need to do from there. Maybe you’ll need adjustable trackbar. If you get vibes do a MML. If you ever want to go to 33’s do a small BL and TCase Shifter and go for it.
H&R would be fine for 31’s. What are you torn about? Also, don’t forget BDS, good product there tooWhile I do like the look of 33's, I truly do not see myself ever going that route. Therefore, the 31's it'll be. I'm really torn between the OME lift and the H&R spring set-up. Initially, OME was "the" direction I was heading. But the more I read @StG58's posts, the more I find myself wanting to be realistic about things. I've always overbuilt on past projects, be it automotive, or home. My wife says my fences could hold in a herd of elephants. I built a nasty 383cid 4-speed Dart convertible, but I'm a seriously mellow driver. I don't wanna go bonkers on the TJ, but I don't want to stop short of what I "think" I really want. I've got about one more month before I start pulling the trigger on things (getting finances in order). I should have made up my mind by then...I think...maybe...

Mostly about whether or not I'd be satisfied with the lower lift the H&R springs would provide. It's a balancing act between what I think I want, and what makes sense monetarily. I also do not want to open a can of worms with the 2.5" lift OME provides. I've heard "Every TJ is different" countless times on this thread, and if vibrations or clearance issues are a potential problem, I'll find some way to end up with 'em! And it's not that I'm afraid of doing the work to correct the issues. It's just the "spend a few bucks here, then a few more here, and a couple more here" trap that I don't want to get caught up in. The H&R springs (and decent shocks, of course) sure seems to follow the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) approach. It's tempting. But if I spend the coin there, and then find I'm not satisfied with the end result, I'll be doing it all over again, and at an added cost. I'm probably just overthinking it all. Some of the guys here sound like they knew exactly what they wanted. Surely there must be others, however, who tormented over the final choice...?
You could go with the OME light duty springs. A reasonable middle ground between H&R & OME HD springs. Works for me with 32s, and would look great IMO with 31s.Mostly about whether or not I'd be satisfied with the lower lift the H&R springs would provide. I’m with you. Still can’t decide. Ordered OME springs and cancelled. So I roll around with a makeshift 2” BB. I kick around H&R with a BL also. But I do wheel a lot and don’t want to sacrifice agility/ability/flexibility/etc. I just want a laid out blue print dammit!!

Dirtworx front & rear. When I found out Robert @ DW charged the same to ship two bumpers as one, I ordered both. That's sharp! Is that a Dirtworx front bumper? I think that's what I'm going to end up with...
Wow! Wouldn't have thought they'd do something like that. Bet that changes when you order the Rear Bumper/Tire Carrier Rack System, though. That's gotta have some weight to it!Dirtworx front & rear. When I found out Robert @ DW charged the same to ship two bumpers as one, I ordered both.
Does it have provisions for a winch mount? Holes already in place, or some such?Dirtworx front & rear. When I found out Robert @ DW charged the same to ship two bumpers as one, I ordered both.
Actually, I went to the site, filled a cart with a front & rear with tire carrier/rack, and the shipping (to NM) was still $79 for both.Wow! Wouldn't have thought they'd do something like that.
