Utah Moab June Fest 2023 Week of June 11th

Hello

I'd like to get access to Coyote Canyon, if possible. May also head out to camp a night or two on easier trails like white rim or elephant hill, because that's good and remote.

Coyote canyon looks to be a challenge on 35’s. See the flex rocks and rollovers channel as they recently did part of it until he broke.

If you do Elephant hill with @lBasket you’d have a group of three if his buddy also runs it.

No permits for CC sadly, but I'll watch it. I'm sure Trevor would be a good time on elephant hill!

I'm likely to be there part of the time camping on BLM land because I am cheap, I only really want to hit the hard stuff with all my changes since last year.

Yeah let me know when you'll be there and we'll have to figure something out!

Figured you might say behind the rocks, Moab rim etc.

Could take you over to widow maker on metal masher.

I haven't done behind the rocks yet, I'd be up for that, but been to the others. I'd like to try widow maker again with the midarm (upcoming install), tuned shocks, and the auto. I think those will change things a good bit.

Oh, I also really want to hit rusty nail and kane creek.

I've never done any of the tubs because both times I was there they all had too much water in them. If I can make it this year I "MIGHT" try one to see how I do. I'm not interested in rolling my Jeep so that has also been the other thing that's kept me from trying. I'll try stuff but I have my limits.

I need to get my guide book back out and study up on which trails I should do. I also might stay longer depending on how things are going for me. Stay the week you all are there at the KOA and then maybe go find a spot to boondock for a while after that if I can find some others to hook up with. I won't try running any of the hard stuff alone.

We don’t need anyone rolling.

While I know I'd sustain damage I THINK I'd be OK and could drive it out if I did. I almost flipped over backwards once on my first trip to Moab. No one caught it on video though. I just had to hear about it. Both front tires were off the ground as I was climbing a steep section. I wouldn't have known unless someone told me.
