
I can see the confusion. It would be a pretty random act by someone.
We are working with a mine who diverted a creek on their property without the proper permits. The feds found out and are making the mine perform corrective mitigation activities with their now after-the-fact permit. One of the special conditions to their permit is that they need to plant native and woody vegetation along the creek corridor. By the time our construction ended last year, it was way too late in the season to do anything. So just a few weeks ago we harvested a bunch of willows near the site and are now ready to plant them. We just need flows to come down so we can get equipment near the creek and so the freshly planted willows don't wash away after planting.
