We were going through our daughter Claire's tablet yesterday and discovered that she has been making videos (without us knowing) that mimic the "toy review" videos she loves to watch on YouTube.

I asked her about it and she was embarrassed, but then I told her if she wanted I would help her upload them to YouTube so she could have her own video channel. She was pretty thrilled about that (in total disbelief too), but I went ahead and did it for her.

Anyways, imagine how much my wife and laughed when we saw this. It's both cute and funny that she's been doing this behind our backs.

That's great, @Chris, kids do the coolest things.

When are you going to help her start her own toy forum?

Haha, no kidding, huh? I laughed and said to my wife, "Hey, apparently YouTube is how kids get rich these days by recording the stupidest things.". Anyways, I'm not sure much will come of it, but I just find it so funny that she was recording videos in secret and we never even knew about it. I mean she's only 5!

Our youngest, 5 now, could run through Mommy's IPad at 3 with absolutely no instruction. It is crazy how fast kids can pick stuff up.

For those who remember VCR's...Kids could program those at early ages too. I have issues with our work coffee maker haha

No kidding. I'm shocked at how well she knows how to use that tablet. Just goes to show you what sponges kids' brains are. It's amazing how quickly they pick stuff up.

Not a bad thing though to pick the technology up when they are young, as it's going to be even more of a part of their life than it is for us.

"Isn't that cool? Right? Oh, yeah. It's so cool." LOL That is so flippin' adorable! My favorite part though was when she disappears off-screen. I busted out laughing. Can't wait to share this with my wife. So, did she learn the whole "work from home in my pajamas" thing from dear ol' dad? :D Precious times right there, my friend. Thanks for sharing!

I can't wait to show her these videos when she's all grown up, should be quite the laugh! She clearly picked up a lot of her mannerisms and speak, from other YouTube videos she's been watching!

Definitely something to play at her 21st or at her wedding lol

My two boys are the same, ages 5 and 3. They love playing with their toys and making movies. Here's my 3 year old now using the iPad. It's amazing how they learn so fast.

I love it when she has her toys say “whoo, we love you Claire”. Too cute! She’s a natural Chris. I can sit and watch for hours old videos I took of my son when he was little and all the cute things he would say and do. Now that he’s 20; I hold my breath whenever he posts something on Facebook. It’s not the same cute stuff it used to be:/.

Haha, yep. We grow up and we lose that childhood innocence. Such a shame! It certainly makes you cherish the time when they are little!
