What did you do to your TJ today?

I think it's the same Jeep as what I posted before and it has Blaine's magic on it (and he says you are very welcome).

What's wrong with how it drives?

It was all over the road. . It literally jumped around. Dog walking is the southern term for not tracking.

The rear axle was off center 3/4” and the front and rear were 5/8” plus out of square each. . Also low caster. Dialed in easy.

Blaine did some very nice work unrelated to that.

Ok, so it's the same Jeep I knew it looked very familiar.

Blaine did a lot of good work to it, so consider yourself lucky. I remember @Mike Z was exceptionally happy with it when he picked it up.

And keep ducks of all sorts away from it!

Not a big deal, but I got the oil changed, put on a Fumoto valve, and changed the oil filter.

I then took it out for a test drive because I really haven't tested out the heater after I replaced the heater core right before Thanksgiving. Yeah, that heater can pump out some heat now and it got quite toasty. Also, I can now let it sit and see if the RMS leak was really the RMS or if it was the VCG.

Drove the Jeep again with the Swayloc unlatched and shocks removed. It's an interesting experience.

One of my mistakes was not checking the lugs by hand- never again.

Well am finishing up on "porting" my intake
Just roughing up the surface up with 60 grit rolls
Don't want baby smooth ports since they hurt performance so 60 grit it is since 80 grit is too smooth for me

Missing more parts than the last photo posted...Check! Ya know, you're gonna have to start putting it back together at some point...I'm guessing around the time you run out of parts to pull...

And WTF are you doing inside the thing that you end up needing three tree air fresheners?

Yeah more missing parts haha,I was waiting on ya
But the plan is to get it running by Wednesday,but first I gotta clear coat the engine bay, fenders and since 2k clear takes a bit I hope it all hardens by Wednesday And then I'll break in the cam and change the oil and break her in some more!
The air freshners are because of the moisture that got in the rear since my top is leaking a tiny bit since the length of my little project,put those in there, fixed the leak.....I didn't close the tailgate all the way

Ordered tires......unfortunately not for my TJ though. My wife's WJ needs tires bad, and she loves MT tires and the noise they make. She had Kenda Klever MTs on her KJ (not JK). Everywhere I looked, these Nokian tires were around $200 each for her size, even at Walmart online. I saw they have a manufacturing plant in Dayton TN. I found a tire place selling all 4 for $390 with free shipping. Christmas is coming early this year for her.

I'm still seeing dripping oil this morning.

It might be residual oil from the dripping VCG, but I need to get in there and really clean things out. Otherwise, I'll be doing an RMS repair over Christmas.

I still need to investigate the secondary transmission leak too.
