Rusty’s off-road suspension

I’m looking for a 2” lift for my 06 TJ.
I know and heard OME is the best but the price is up there, a bit more than I want to spend.

Looking at other 2” kits ( Springs & shocks) it seems Rusty’s off road has what I’m looking for at a decent price, is there any other recommendations on a 2” kit? (Springs & shocks)

Any and all info is appreciated.

Take a look at my 2" lift that I have linked in my signature. It's top quality and about half the price of an OME lift.

BDS 2" coils, Rancho RS5000X shocks. I run that set up. Excellent ride on and off road.

Rusty’s has probably the worst reputation of any place online when it comes to Jeep parts. While I can’t speak from experience, I’ve read so many horror stories that I’ll never personally recommend them.

At least in my personal opinion, Rusty has earned a terrible reputation over many years. I personally wouldn't even touch anything from Rusty's. The below meme is just one of many anti-Rusty's things you'll find scattered around the internet. I'd stick with something like from OME, Zone, etc.

If I was going to install one, I'd likely go with ProComp 2" springs with Rancho RS5000x shocks. I'm no fan of ProComp suspensions and their shocks are especially stiff but their springs are actually very good quality. It'd be real hard to beat the ride of Rancho's mid-priced RS5000x shocks, many of us here including me run and like them a lot.

This is a great setup I think if you're trying to do something a little cheaper than OME, but still stay in the 2" range.

Right now I have stock springs with a 2” budget boost lift, this is how I bought the Jeep but the ride quality is HORRIBLE.

I like the look and height and really don’t want to go any higher

I don't blame you, that's why I choose my OME lift. I like 2.5" of lift, it's perfect IMHO!

With 2" bumpstop extensions and a narrow 33 it's doable. Oh and a washer on the steering stops.
