Lift question

No. You'll regret it. The ride will be bad with the shocks. Springs are ok. 4" lift is more than you need for 31's. 2.5" is more like it. His ^^^looks pretty good bc of the fenders. Check out the thread on lifts. It's helpful

Here's 31s on about a 3 inch lift

Here is mine on 265/75R16's (31.7"), a 2.5" spring lift and +2" Rancho RS5000X shocks. I may or may not add a BL, but nothing more than that.

I really do love your Rubi CodaMan. Every time I see it on here I like it more! We're sitting about the same. I'm probably going to BL just for 33's next year. Nice work!

Are you happy with it? My concern is a friend of mine is doing the lift with me. Buying a lift kit will most likely come with everything we need. If we go this direction what all will I need to get?

I am 100% happy with it the way it is. My lift includes (and nothing else):

1) New 2" springs, I used Pro Comp springs and I can provide part numbers if you want them.

2) +2" Rancho 5000X shocks, again, part numbers if you want them.

3) .75" spacers for the front springs to level it out, again, part numbers...

4) 1" bump stop extensions .. bottom up front and top in the rear, again...

Parts I used in my lift:

1) Pro Comp 2" Springs (Front) — EXP55297
2) Pro Comp 2" Springs (Rear) — EXP55298
3) Rancho RS5000X Shocks (2 Front) — RS55239
4) Rancho RS5000X Shocks (2 Rear) — RS55241
5) Daystar.75" Spacers — KJ09108BK (note: only used above front springs for leveling)
6) Rock Krawler Bump Stop Extensions (Front and Rear) --RKSRK05611 (note: Comes with 6 1" extensions. Glue or bolt 1 to each spring bucket at the bottom of the front springs; I used this RTV Adhesive and it worked great. Then bolt 1 above each bump stop cup on rear springs)

I agree with the masses, 2.5" lift FTW. Add 1" coil spacers and a little more bumpstomp if you want to graduate to 33's.

Couldn't you bolt the bump stop spacers on above the cup on the front also?

The general rule is bottom in front and top in the rear. If you mount them to the top in front you have more of a chance of them binding when the spring compresses

CodaMan can you tell me if this setup fits into the 2003 Jeep Wrangler Sport, 6cly?

Holy Batman! Another resurrected thread. I don’t want to steal @CodaMan thunder, but yeah, it will work for any 1997 to 2006 TJ

If I go to work with this setup, can you tell me if I need anything else?

That is all I ran on both Jeeps. The only additional part you may want is a rear track bar relocation bracket ($20) if you think the rear axle is shifted too much for your liking. Personally, It was fine with me.
