I am having a hell of a time finding the correct clamps for the front driveshaft slip yoke boot. I have found some Mopar ones but they are forever "shipping" or not in stock. Jeff Bezos has a boot and clamps that I have on order now but I was wanting some spare clamps. I have ordered a couple of boots previously, that came with clamps, but they the opposite of the mopar ones. The teeth were facing inwards, towards the rubber boot.

Like these are--

My question is- are these acceptable? Would they not dig into and tear the rubber boot? I can see where, on the longer ones, you may be able to have multiple wraps of the band so that the teeth are pressing on the band and not the rubber. I don't see that as possible on the smaller band that is needed.

Yeah, I thought about that. I do have some metal ones.

Good enough for you, good enough for me. I'll set the google-watch aside.
