I bought my home in Chandler in 2010 in a short sale for $80 a sf. It had sold in 2006 for $160 a sf. We've seen this before and we know how it ends.

BTW... Zillow says my house is worth $235 a sf now.

The problem comes as some years are good and some are bad.

One year your house/investments go up and then they tax that. Next year it fluctuates down so you take a loss. And so on.
