Warn rear bumper / hitch mounted carry-all

Hello folks. I have this Warn bumper and plan to use this Jeep to deer hunt out of. I would like to use the hitch on the bumper to carry a deer but don’t know if that would be too much torque and weight on the bumper. Called Warn and they say they have no tests or specs regarding that application. I could install a class III hitch but would prefer not to do that. Tire carrier is a 35. What are your thoughts?

I use mine all the time. Tows little things like mowers and generators just fine.

I assume you have the frame tie brackets installed?

I tow a jetski with mine a couple times a year with no issues. 700mi round trip with it attached. I would cut the tube on the hitch basket and try to snub it up as close as possible to keep your leverage down since you already have a spare on it.

I'd be more concerned with that basket/rack holding up to the weight, than the bumper.
