What did you do to your TJ today?

In the last few weeks:

1) Removed the faded-to-purple roll cage covers and painted them back to black (Duplicolor fabric paint)
2) Black seat covers to cover up the OEM aztec zig-zag motif.
3) New bumper (1/4 plate, for TOAD towing), light bar, and Hella blackout lights.

Installed tow hooks on the front bumper. Had to use some washers as spacers to clear the rubber number things.

Searched for the source of the metal on metal clanging noise I had been hearing from the rear. Determined my rear sway bar bushings are, well, gone. So ordered a new set.

Also lubed up the U-joints while I was under there.

Then decided today was the day to order my 1” BL, 1” MML combo. The plan is for a Tummy tuck later in the summer, so this was step one.

Took a break from the trailer build and installed a tailgate drop down table. It’s a Smittybilt made for the JK’s. I bolted it to the outside of my tailgate.

Fits nicely between the tailgate and my Or-Fab tire carrier.

Installed the BedRug that I ordered during the eBay 15% off sale. Also ordered a P/U tailgate mat to have some extra material to cover my Instatrunk.

Installed the "Flip-Ur-Top" sun-rider conversion $50 shipped after ebay 15% off sale, probably could have made it myself but why re-invent the wheel when it designed so nicely. Also first day (55 deg) to take the uppers off the doors.

Finished up the garage heater earlier this month.

Picked up some ramps.

Replaced the fluid in the front differential, cleaned and painted the cover. Replaced the rear last fall when I did the gas tank skid plate.

Installed the new speakers in the dash and sound bar.

This arrived late in the day for an upcoming project.

Really hopeful that the snowblower will be used strictly as a coat/ hat rack until 2019. Maybe as a place to balance a beer... Happy Easter to all.

Not sure if you're referring to the hood lift, the LED headlights, or the lights on the bumper. I like the hood lift, I have not seen one like that before.

Sorry about that... I installed the Hood Lift. I hadn't seen one before, then stumbled on this one.. was under 50 bucks! Was a 15 min job and works perfectly... actually the hood seems to fit a bit more snug...

I swapped out my dash lights with LEDs (blue) and I wish I had done this long ago!! Pictures do not do this mod justice!! They even dim!

I did not take pics of the kit before install....but works as advertised. I can take pics of installed kit in a couple of days.
