I recently purchased a dual steering stabilizer from Rough Country. After I began installation I realized that the drag link attachment point for the stabilizer did not exist and there was a bracket where the hole in the factory arm would be. When I removed it I did not know there was a difference. In researching I found some aftermarket companies make heavy duty versions & kits of this link and bracket mount for the stabilizer. I am enclosing a picture to see if anyone can ID. Obviously I cant use the dual stabilizer kit. I am more interested now in figuring out what parts I have so when I need to order new ends etc. I know where to turn.

I’m going to surmise that the OP may have death wobble or fear of death wobble.

I’m a lot more afraid of what he’s up to.

I’ve driven numerous rigs that didn’t even have a stabilizer and so good to drive.

Sir, if you’ll tell us what you are dealing with.....The experience I’ve had with this forum is you can get absolutely fantastic help.

Coming from people who have rigs that drive exceptional.

Not trying to correct anything. I was just looking to replace the one that was on there. Thought two would be better than one. amazon and price was right. The lift was done by PO. I want to rebuild the front end. Drives well enough but all the grease boots are cracked and she has miles. NO DW but I can feel it getting a little loose. This is my 3rd CJ / Wrangler but I never owned a lifted one. Mostly on road driving with trips to the beach for some surf fishing. I had a 2002 Grand C that I lifted and that front end was a nightmare. I had the death wobble right out of the box after I lifted it.

I actually found out what this kit is - 2nd one has a stabilizer!

As Andy said when setup correctly there isn't any need for two let alone one steering stabilizer. If you're having DW or the indications of DW you need to figure out why instead of band-aiding the issue.
You can get replacement grease boots. And if you're starting to get the feelings of a loose front end you're money a head to fix it now. So you need to do some diagnostic work and track down the reasons why.
The way a TJ is setup is very different than a CJ or YJ and the way it needs to be modified is equally different than those rigs. You don't run a drop pitman arm for one example.
So give a detailed description of the symptoms you're having and someone will help to diagnose it and point you in the proper direction to having a rig that drive & tracks great on road.

Thanks. That is my plan. I just want to rebuild the front end and have a baseline going forward. I needed to ID the part so I can buy the rod ends etc.
