Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

The first thing I wanted him to learned was how to handle the fish as little as possible

And where to handle it and not too- I cannot stand to see someone pick up the fish by the gills if they plan to release it- That is tantamount to someone picking us up by the lungs

And I had a dinner to go to and no idea what would happen to the fish if he took it home so I got him to release it

Catch and release is going to be more important to the future of fishing than ever before because of the refinement of a forward facing sonar.

Don’t get me wrong- I’m going to catch and eat some fish but I’m going to do it deliberately.

That fish still has a lot of growth left and really was a little bit big for the table anyway as far as a bass goes

I love this. Teach responsibility.

When we go fishing here we make a decision before we launch the boat; dinner or release.

We take the catch and release concept to a different level. We cut the hooks off the flies/lures. We do this because the fish will still take the lures and run. We don't see the benefit of tiring a fish out and then dropping it back in the water sluggish and become dinner for a shark, dolphin or other predators.

When we go for big fish with the possibility of the line breaking we use freshwater hooks. Very rarely do we use stainless hooks. Non stainless hooks will rust away (if they can't spit them out) in about 5 days versus who knows how long, if ever,

Florida and I am sure elsewhere is getting plugged up with people and too many of them keep everything that is pulled into the boat. Releasing them is the only way young kids will have a chance to catch fish in the future. Otherwise we are going to see massive season restrictions and species closures.

If everything hunting and fishing wasn't related to "the biggest" or "how many points/score" the world would be better.

I have never had a fish mount done, or a Bucks head mounted.

The joy to me was fill the freezer, so I didn't have to rely on a grocery store for substance.

Pics or it never happened.

It's not even subtle. It is ram it in your face.

One becomes brain dead ignorant after a period of time and tell the same lie enough times people think it is the truth.

Yeah. I see what you mean.

So many people don’t realize they are possessed by all this it seems.

I see beautiful young couples on dates immersed in screen sucking.

Housewives with piled up laundry watching tik tok.

If there is no other evil (and it presents lots of ills)…. it is a thief of time.

Chopped off the uca bracket from The HP30 cleaned it up with a grinder and once I got low enough I used a file,The welding done from factory is what makes it seems like there's lowspots (which they are) Might weld it all again to make it seem like nothing happened but my HP44 from a Ford is laughing looking at me from the corner of my garage 😆 So I might leave it alone.....after all it's a junky ole 30 but I like to take some pride in my work so I may fill in the lowspots with some more weld

Edit-about 2 secs. With the DA sander later and it looks better 😁

And welp got a few things done thar we're unexpected!
Fist order of business was the burnt/melted Connector on the Bank2 sensor 2 and the reason being is that I was sitting on my exhaust pipe,I'm running an ARH header so the harness I flipped and it's too short so it needs an extension,It was too long but no worries I fixed that. MELTED GOODNE

After finding out the 02 sensor on the Jeep had a bad wire right at the connector hanging by 3 wire strands....

And after the fact of finding why I still had a High Voltage code i got to digging around,Thankfully I got 2 used full sets of these 02 Sensors for this reason 😁
Some good ole Deutsch connectors came in clutch!!!

The Jeep didn't give me codes but then got a CPS sensor code🙃 right after I put in the good 02 sensor in....But after a bit I remember the last time I had this issue was when I cam swapped my jeep and to fix it was to act like I was advancimg timing on a SBC so turning the OPDA counterclockwise and tens of thousands of miles later today I had the same issue SO,To fix it I retarded the OPDA a but no avail. Advanced it and it worked for about 3 miles of driving got code so I advanced some more and bam After 30 miles of driving to pick up a new power washer and no Cam/crank postiom codes 😁

NO MORE P0016 😁 if you were to measure the gap from my coil bracket to the right side of the Cam sensor bolt would be about 1/4" ish!

Ain't any shame in doing something to your own standards. A good HP30 is fun to see and watch.

You ain't wrong.....but this big ole Chonker can't wait to be built 😆

My Hp30 won't be too exciting just some new spring perch/Lca brackets from Ballistic fab Barnes 4wd c gussets&UCA bracket and a Lunchbox locker with 5.13s😁,Only reason I'm building this the Hp30 is cause A I desperately need a straight axle housing since I bent my Lp30....on 31s

Main reason I'm building this HP30 is because I want a matching rear axle for my Hp44 and my budget can't fill,me building 2 axles!
Anyways back to filing these welds that are filling the lows😁
