So, did I miss the link to purchase this deluxe pan? And will it fit under (Or above as the case may be) the stock skid?
I don't sell powdercoated pans. I'll braze a threaded port for a temp sensor into a Dorman 42RLE pan if you send me the pan. You'll have to do the paint repair when it gets back to you.
Dorman pan fits where the stock pans do.
Only Cronies get the deluxe pan…
Only cronies who are willing to spend the funds to strip the original PC off, and pay for new powdercoat get the deluxe pan.
The reason for that is we don't strip the original PC off. It takes way too long, there are no good DIY methods to do it so we have to send it out and they charge about 30 bucks to do it.
To do one pan-
Dorman pan- 50ish
Sensor port braze- 30
Strip PC off- 30
New PC- 20
And there is no way I'm sending a pan back to the owner in the crappy Dorman box so the packaging goes up on top of the 20ish back to the owner. I don't see folks paying 150 ish bucks for a trans pan and that's if we don't charge to get them to the stripper or down and back from coating.
Good info, thanks. If it’s alright I’ll drop shop a Dorman pan to you Blaine and let you braze in the bung. Then instead of re shipping it I’ll come out to get it. I’ve got something to drop off to you from your help on the knuckles - and I want to go back to Bella’s for a great meal.

Spoiled my effort to achieve of getting some 1st class street cred. Now I'll have to confess that I'm not a crony because there was neither a BM Wizard decal nor lip balm in the box.
