Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

For a few hundred bucks i scored a deal on a dana 44,has 4.88s alloy chromo shafts,Yukon airlocker😁 from FB Marketplace
Picked up a 1310to1330 Ujoint from summit since this axle did come from a LJR ,Nothin like picking up parts Off a rubicon while driving a rubicon sub model jeep all for it to go in a sport šŸ˜†
This puppy should make my jeep accelerate quicker and relive strain off my tranny! I know 5.13s would be the better for 33s but man....this axle came cheaper than buying new gears&bearings, too good of a deal to not get it!!

I'll be tearing my Lj apart tonight to slap this axle in so stay tuned 😁

Edit-Oh and the cherry on top it came with an ARB diff cover too 😁

I have those in spots on my A pillar and floods on the bumper. Lamin-X makes some 4 inch round sheets that fit perfectly if you remove the front ring to install them. I used clear on the spots and amber on the floods. I tried the yellow on the floods first but didn’t like the color output with the LED’s. Seemed like it was weak or something.

I used the clear plastic covers that Quadratec makes that fit these lights. They also make a yellow set that I might try later on to see how it looks.

Same with my newer vehicles. Gotta lift the car just to change the oil. With the Jeep I just get under with the drain pan and tools, no vehicle lifting required.

I can do my truck without a lift. But there is like... 1" more space than the size of my noggin. So you gotta come out and go back under if you want to turn your head 🤣

There's actually quite a few real factors. A lot of Internet whiners like to moan and groan thinking it's done to "look cool" and have never driven larger vehicles or operated in situations where you may be required to leave in a hurry.

First, it is safer and easier to pull out of a spot versus back out of a spot. Think about busy parking lots where you can't see the cross traffic or pedestrians, especially without cameras or sensors.

Second, larger vehicles (not our TJ's) like pickups are more maneuverable into a spot when the steering wheels are second. A drag axle will cheat through a corner so if you think of it as pushing the drag axle and steering from the rear, it's easier to maneuver in tight quarters.

When people are in a hurry (say emergency services), most collisions and damage occur when backing. So if you do the backing portion while you are not rushed, you minimize the risk of damage when leaving in a hurry.

It can also be very helpful as mentioned for loading or unloading. When I have my son at the grocery store and can have him in the cart on a sidewalk rather than out by where cars are driving it keeps everyone safer.

I heard most accidents happen within 3 miles of where you live. So I moved 5 miles away.
