Rear drum brake too tight

Hey ya'll it's me again with another new problem... Did a whole new brake job on my 99 automatic TJ (4.0, dana 30 front, dana 35 rear). I bought the Power Stop K15073DK-36 Front and Rear brake set on amazon due to the high reviews on it and figured ill put new rotors and drums on her since she hasn't probably seen new ones since the beginning of its life. I've done my fair share of drum brakes and did it per usual one at a time. when I went to put the drums on it was a very snug fit ( double checked the install, front shoe smaller than rear, adjuster all the way closed). I even tried putting on the old drums and no luck with a smooth install. I figured well once i get her moving a bit, it will rub off some material on the pads and be fine. I put on the tires and start it up, put it in reverse and no budge. Put it in drive, no budge. I even loosen the e-brake and try again, no budge. The drums now wont come off as it was a tight fit. Here is the link to the kit I bought just incase someone here has had some experience with it. I'm not sure what else to do from here as I am stumped....

Update, took some persuasion (BFH). Drums are off. Matched the drums to the old ones (they are the same size). Matched the old pads to the new ones (same size and orientation). Will look at some more videos and diagrams to determine what's wrong. Will attach photos on this post to show what I've done. Here is driver side.

Try your old adjusters, see if they're a little shorter when adjusted all the way in.

Yup. That was it. So silly… pay 300+ for new everything and they can’t even spec hardware correctly….

Maybe you can file the new ones deeper with the edge of a file.

Eh... too much work. The old ones turned fine, just not shiny.... hah....

So some take away notes for this kit. The adjuster wasn't the proper size. Also the rotors are 82mm and not 78mm as mine needs the later.... So this kit would have worked better in the beginning for a TJ that used the 82mm rotors and hardware. I'll have to sell these new rotors and put the money towards a set of 78mm later on. If you are using the taller rotors right now, they tend to lock up when they come into contact with the knuckles. Are you sure you have the later unit bearings?
