Can you show how you have your exhaust routed? Love where you have it dumped. Wish a TJ had the room for that.

Is there any tow rating for the rear bumper? Fantastic work.

There is no load rating by the letter of the law, But I am more than confident that the frame and bumper can take tenfold of what the factory can. I tow wave runners out to the lake about a 3 hour drive and it does just fine, I do turn compression up on the shocks but that is it. Attached is a pic when I moved my shop about 3k pounds

Just got off of the phone with Fluxor. He answered all of my questions and we found a solution that would best fit my needs. Great customer service. Can’t wait to get my parts.

it’s really awesome working with a small company with a passion towards their product.

it helps that Klay makes some really nice jewelry

What size is spare tire? How hard is it to get the spare in or out?

It’s a 39” kanati and it is extremely cumbersome to remove. I probably won’t ever use it, it’s just in there incase I get stranded. In a realistic situation I blow a tire I’ll limp it home and order one that matches my other 4 40” Patagonia X/t

The Prototype 304 SS Spare Tire Carrier fits. It does the same thing as the first version, just less welding (First version took 1hr of just weld time), SS to help avoid corrosion and the 304 is stronger then the P.O. Steel. It also fits in line with the rest of our material choices. Also got a few the rear valances with no back up lights in. The SS STC prototype is spoken for but I will be doing a run after I get these rear bumpers built and shipped.

For those waiting on parts, thanks for your patience.

Any way to pre-order the tire carrier? I requested on site to get notices when it comes back in stock, but I'm thinking it'll be a different SKU then the mild-steel version.

This may have been mentioned already...

Does this (with your hinges) eliminate the need for snubbers?

Not sure how it will play out on the site. I need to talk my buddy helping out with that side of things.

Yes you can order via email fluxoroad@gmail.com. The goal is to get all parts in stock on the site but parts are selling faster then I can make them. Those that send an email confirming an order get parts first. Anything left over goes in stock on the site.

No, the lower snubber on the valance is NEEDED no matter what Body tailgate/carrier you run. It does eliminate them from the tailgate. My kit comes with black Delrin spacer that needs to be fit so there is small amount of preload on the tire when the tailgate is shut. I plan to make a video explaining why this is. In short the latch holds the tailgate closed and the snubber holds it "open" creating a slight bind. No matter what body/tailgate style carrier you run. If this method is not adhered to your tailgate WILL move and vibrate as the you are relying on the durometer of the rubber seal to hold the tailgate "open".

Go push in on your tailgate and you will see what I mean. Now imagine a 100 lb plus tire and a washboard road.

Hope this helps.

Thought we'd need the snubber, looking at your mockup above I got excited.

That email will be your way shortly.

Thanks,
