What brand? I put a Rigid on the back of my WJ 10 years ago.

Out of curiosity, has anyone set up a reverse light override switch where you can activate the backups manually when not in reverse? I just wired my backups to the taillights but would like to be able to switch them on manually if and when needed.

Very common to add a switch. What's trick is to have a 3 position switch so you can turn them off. No reason to blind people in the parking lot, or on the trail.

Sounds like a great plan. Where is the switch? On the transmission or in the shifter (on an Auto)?

- eventually I’ll move them onto bumper, because the other night we’re out in the woods and I realized oops, the location of the lights is only good when you’re backing up, not as work lights, because the lights swing away with the spare tire 🥴😂

Mine is mounted in the corner of the shop!!!!!

Last time I used it was when a 48' flatbed trailer I had, had a Dolly leg collapse. Got the high lift and raised the trailer up to get my truck under it. To make repairs.

Think this was around 2007 or 2008.

Any chance you have a link to these? I am replacing my rear bumper and the flush mounted lights I put in my stock bumper are too large to mount in the Barnes Low Profile Bumper..

I did this to the stocker…

Easy enough. Use a SPDT relay activated by the SPST switch. When the switch is OFF, the relay is in one position, when the switch is ON, the relay will be in the other.

Im trying to do this as well, using a 5 pin relay and a diode
