What did you do to your TJ today?

Replaced deez and the 2/2 o2 sensor due to a P0158 code. Runs wonderfully now, however it is now throwing a P0157 as well as the P0158.

Is there a clear/understandable diagram of where the wire from the 2/2 sensor routes to? Wondering if when I did the MM lift and body lift if I managed to pinch a wire.

Wiring diagrams are in the Factory Service Manuals in the resources section. 8w.

The wires run along the passenger side of the transmission. Possible you pinched them between the top of the bellhousing and the tub.

One of the many times I've had my transmission out I deloomed the harness, inspected all the wires and rewrapped with fresh tape and split loom. You'd be surprised at home much grit makes it into the wiring harness and sits there possibly causing damage.

Certainly makes things easier...but there's plenty of room to get your hands in there with the transmission...which you can pull in about 45 minutes especially if you've v-banded the exhaust, replaced those damn e-torx bolts on top and have a cable shifter.

Where are they running to under there? From what I can see from the schematic 2 wires go to the PCM, and 2 mystery wires (BK/LB & DB/DG) go to somewhere other. Wondering if one of those 2 latter ones are damaged and if I could just run a new pair to where they go to... but where is that?

What are "S185" and "S134" on the schematic?

Late into the night fixing an LJ that the cats gave away and plugged the 3rd cat. Also bent and damaged an O2 sensor on the way out. Never expected it from a rig with only 60k miles on it.

Just drove the 99 to town to get oil and filters for the Taco . I got gas and checked the mileage 19.02 m.p.g.
