The brake lines shouldn't look like this, right?

I installed the Omix 7 piece brake line kit. It was a pain to install because it seemed that the lines were bent in a weird way that did not line up with anything. There was no way to install it without carefully bending it. I got it in and one of the flares was bad. So I emailed them and they are sending me a whole other 7 piece kit.

But my question is. There is no way those bends in these photos is ok, right? Because it just seems terribly wrong. Worst comes to worst I have one more shot to do it when the new kit arrives.

I haven't had a premade brake line that didn't need at least a little bending to get where it was supposed to be. obviously one would expect the flares to be correct.

Looking at the photos, nothing seems bad?

I mean you could probably get the rear line a little closer to the axle. The other one looks like you have the distribution block laying on its side so it seems like it will meet up with the master cylinder once rotated.

Like I said, minor adjusting/tweaking is normal for premade lines.

alright thanks. I need to go in with some old hose and put it around the line so it does not hit metal. A few of the clips broke, so I’m just gonna put a rubber hose on it and zip tie it around to be extra secure. The distribution block mount is bent because one of the lines I took off was so tight it was bending the bracket.
