My new/used hood cowl was supposed to be here via FedEx yesterday. Made it to town but rescheduled for tomorrow. Last shipment sat here for three days and was loaded onto three different trucks. eBay might be giving me a refund if it shows up and doesn't look like the pictures. FedEx has a way of always destroying packages.

Then opened the package I got in the mail from a friend in Florida, he knows I'm like him and hard of hearing. Also a pic of him with his.

Speaking of FedEx I always preferred UPS the years I was in business. Since for home deliveries I had no problems until list month FedEx backed into our concreate and block mail box and destroyed it. I had it rebuilt and FedEx has been terrible with the the property damage claim since.

F*CKING FEDEX!!!! My package did arrive yesterday from FedEx undamaged. Got it installed quickly and easily. Seems like I did a great job on dialing in my angle too, super smooth drive in this morning. I don't think I went over 45, but the TJ hasn't rode this smooth since I got it last year so I call it a win!

I ordered tons of parts from Rock auto as of late, unfortunately I ordered four shocks. One came blown up, literally oil everywhere and box blown apart. I’m still waiting on replacement


se Thing happened to me, I drilled and used an easy out. Not exactly fun, but I got it.

I broke 2 easyouts and 3 drill bits but got there, I put the most nasty, never go away and get everywhere toxic dark grey nickel anti seize in all the bolts this time so it won’t happen again.

Back from the alignment shop. They had 2 attempts and got things much better the 2nd time around. Besides for the obvious driveline vibrations, it drives much nicer. Caster before was around 3.7.

Curious is anyone has run into this... the uppers core 4x4 camp series were brought completely in to their shortest length while the lowers were brought out slightly more than stock to achieve the caster below. Not sure on pinion angle still need to go out and measure it.

Is this alignment lark a dark art? I want to get done esp my front since installing 2.5 emu lift but don’t want to risk my local ruining things.

Spent the afternoon admiring my work, new master cylinder is bone dry since installing after a few weeks use, old one was clearly leaking from somewhere, as the booster sticker was melting and lot of corroded paint with the previous one
