Another day, another tie rod end ( yes yes ye, still needs tightening, cotter pin and grease)

Old one had so much movement it was like beeing back in the arcade

Had to replace the exact same one. Mine wouldn’t accept grease. Didn’t wait for it to get loose.

Got one of them quick lock because of the same issue a year back! Worked and worth it

Got one from my previous job/life. It works great, but sometimes even with the lube locker the grease won’t go in. Thinking about getting one of those grease zerk busters.

I had the lockNlube one, worked great!!!!!

Cleaned off the wife's Jeep where the antifreeze was all over the top of the radiator so I could see where it was leaking from. Radiator was still full, so I ran it for 30 minutes with the AC on high. Still reading just below 210 and not leaking now.

I thought about that but most of the antifreeze was in the center of the fan shroud (under the overflow hose). The radiator looks like crap and has been bowed up looking in the center since we bought it. I need to find out where it's leaking before wasting money on a mechanic. I'm going to take it for another drive later. Hopefully it doesn't explode and leave me stranded.

They have signs up at our auto parts stores. Absolutely NO working on vehicles in the parking lot. I'd do it at my brother's house, but he's still pissed about me changing my fuel pump in his driveway and spilling gas.

We have them here as well, but I’ve always taken that as corp BS and just don’t leave your car on blocks or a chem spill. Cause if I’m replacing my TJ battery under warranty and they want the core back, you better believe I’m swapping in the lot.
