I know we’ve all done this, probably not often but do you ever get stuck in a moment and think about how much you love your Jeep? Like I mean walk outside like a fool and just glance at her then go back inside just for that. Honestly I’d like to say I care about what people think but I don’t so I’ll just tell you that I do that a lot. Especially being my first vehicle and working for it and all the parts for it I can’t ever get enough but do this, particularly when I don’t have money to throw at it.

I get that feeling sometimes. But I get the exact opposite feeling just as many times. Trying to put my soft top on in a rush in 80 degree heat at 7 in the morning made me want to burn my Jeep to the ground this morning (especially after I smashed my thumb into the spare tire carrier!). Then I got to the shop and noticed rain water pouring into the back of my Jeep because the back window didn't seal to the tailgate. Then I just laughed and remembered why I like my Jeep so much. Its just a ridiculously good but awful vehicle all at the same time.

Oh my lord I can never agree with you more, freaking 250 degree weather in Fl this time of year but sometimes for me I don’t start loving it again until the next day because I’m that frustrated. All for the love of these 4 wheel drive juice boxes

The love hate relationship never changes. We've had my Jeep for over 17 years now. My Dad was the same way when he had my Jeep. Everything is a pain in the neck but for some reason you keep doing it.

I woke up at 6AM this morning to go hate myself putting on a soft top only to uncomfortably drive my Jeep through traffic to a shop to spend money on it. But for some reason, I still like my Jeep.

Yeah my relationship with mine is a bit bipolar. For the probably two years that I was fighting death wobble problems, throwing time and money at it and still not being able to drive it, I nearly came to despise it. But, since it’s been resolved and I’m able to enjoy it, I’m back to loving it.

You not alone there mate...I'll go into the garage for something (no Jeep related) then catch my Jeep looking at me...so I'll get distracted and think I'll just clean it or tighten something, then pat it on the bonnet and say 'Good boy !' :eaea:….walk back in the house completely forgetting why I went in the garage in the first place.

LMAO yup. For me I was admiring the paint and fluid film spray job I did on the undercoat last week every now and then checked up on the coats and I swear the people in my neighborhood probably think I have some weird “my strange addiction”, addiction with it. But almost everyone here owns either like a Nissan Altima or Prius or something and seems like they’ve never layed a hand anywhere else other than on their steering wheel

HA! I had a similar thing happen last Friday. I forget why the TJ was on my mind...I was supposed to drive my wife's car for a windshield replacement...but I didn't! Hopped in the Jeep and had a nice Topless morning drive. Got to work, noticed I missed about three calls from my wife and remembered I was supposed to take her car....ooops!

Did you have to do a 'TJ timeout' when you got home?

I like my Jeep, but some of you guys need to be exposed to the rest of what this world has to offer.

No need to be condescending on the forum. We are all here to talk about our passion. If you don't have as much of a passion for Jeeps as some others, thats great. No need to put others down for no reason. Relax.
