Ever since I put 35’s on my rubicon I noticed that I feel a vibration when coming to a stop. It only happens when the Jeep is almost stopped. When I first hit brakes, everything is normal till the last couple feet of stopping. I had brakes replaced with vanco big break kit shortly after putting 35’s thinking this would fix issue. Brakes work great, but still have the vibration.
Recently I’ve been experiencing a clunking/pop noise when almost stopped after hitting brakes, as well. Doesn’t happen every time. I can also feel something underneath right where my feet sit on the floor board.
After doing some reading, I’m leaning towards a bad control arm bushing. The Jeep came with a 4” superlift lift kit which I believe came with bottom control arms, as they are not stock.
Am I on the right track, or way off? I have currie’s currectlync steering package, and when getting brakes installed I had the ball joints replaced as well with Dana spicer ball joints, so I don’t think it should be anything up front. Thoughts?
