Super fun today wheelin' at the dunes; then hitting Zion. Long day, but very fun!
When we were in Moab, I saw his Jeep sitting at the City Market. So I pulled in and parked across the way and waited for him to come out. I had no idea what he looked like either. After a while I decided to just hop in his rig and sit in the driver’s seat. So he and his woman come wandering out and I can tell this is him. She’s whispering to him that someone is sitting in his Jeep. They’re slowly approaching. Then she says that’s not your Jeep and he says, hell yeah it is. Well, anyway, it then dawned on him who I was. Good times!
Reminds me of when we all meet at the bar in Moab. I was joking with @lowranger how I didn't know what anyone looked like while sitting on a stool looking for everyone.![]()
To all of you that invited Robyn and I to the "Moab Trip", a huge thanks goes out to you all. I am nervous meeting new people, and you all made it really nice to meet you all and hang out. This was something really out of my norm. We were really happy to meet you all in person and go Jeepin'.
We really enjoyed the week in Moab, and we spent the next week going to different national parks. Since @tomtaylz had us buy the pass for Canyonlands we decided to see Bryce Canyon, then the Coral Pink Sand dunes, then Zion, and finally the Grand Canyon. The Pass paid for itself in this one vacation. That really changed the direction of the second week of our vacation, so a special thanks goes out to @tomtaylz for leading us through Canyonlands, and indirectly giving us a really awesome second week of vacation.
It was a really awesome vacation, and one that won't be forgotten soon. Thanks again to everybody that showed up and played in the rocks with us!
Last night in the Grand Canyon, and the last night of our vacation we took a shuttle at the grand canyon to a lookout to watch the sunset, it was a beautiful end to an awesome vacation. Here are a couple of pictures of the sunset:

Whatever we decide if any, it is not going to be soon. We are just talking about it, and we are going to explore now that I have a sound motorhome and towing apparatus. We will be in AZ for a while still, so definitely if you are in this neck of the woods hit us up.Glad you had a good time in Moab and a great second week.
We were suppose to be coming home today also from our second week in Ouray Colorado, but due to the rain and snow coming in, we left two days early.
It was a real pleasure for Joan & I to meet you and Robyn. If we make it to Arizona before you leave, we'll look you two up. Let us know where you decided to move to.
Nice! They look great.Whatever we decide if any, it is not going to be soon. We are just talking about it, and we are going to explore now that I have a sound motorhome and towing apparatus. We will be in AZ for a while still, so definitely if you are in this neck of the woods hit us up.
Also when we were leaving Zion we saw these in the parking lot. Actually part of the art of the parking lot and not for sale. Thought of you and Joan.
