Gas spills while filling tank

So whenever I fill up my tank there’s always a little “burp” and some gas always spills out of the tank and down my Jeep. Anybody have the same issue or know what could be causing this??

Do you even have to worry about this with the GenRight tank?

I don't know. You remind me that I was wanting to look at how they handle that, if at all.

I wish I could remember (and I should with how many times I had to mess with that tank), but I know that since the tank itself has an aluminum neck (where the fill hose attaches to), that portion of it can't swell from the ethanol for sure.

Not sure about the rest, but I'd be curious to know.

This is a band aid to disguise the problem.

Do yourself a favor and do it right the first time.
