I’ve got a german short haired pointer, pointer was taken so I threw in a TJ. Avatar is my dad and I tightening up the suspension on my ‘99 right after I got it. My dad bought a basket case CJ5 that was completely disassembled and put it together for us kids to learn how to drive on while we were growing up. His buddies thought it was cool so we ended up restoring a few more CJs for them. I inherited the Jeep bug, and the DIY project addiction, from him so I figured it was an appropriate picture for my avatar. Here’s the CJ5 and the pointer not pointing.

Rubihara? Explain please.
2004 TJ was the last model year that had a Sahara package. In 2005 Jeep decided to team up with Paramount to do a tie in with the movie Sahara. So Jeep created 1000 Jeep Unlimited Rubicons with the TJ Sahara trim, some custom stickers/painted Moabs, and other tid bits. So a higher line Rubicon for 2005.

Avatar is my Rubicon; Sreen name is short for Thunderhead Hawkins, the stage name Hank Williams Jr uses when he is singing the blues.
That is actually something I did not know. How have I missed that. I’m from Alabama.

My thoughts are, if you want a Rubicon buy a Rubicon. Be happy with what you have, mod it, make it your own. Add Rubicon parts. In the end it will not be a Rubicon, but it will be yours. Don’t con yourself or anyone else. Bad vibes come back.
