What did you do to your TJ today?

Those look great. I've been contemplating getting new seat cushions in the front. Could you please share what model these are? How do you like the comfort compared to a typical modern car seat?

They are PRP low back enduro reclining seats. Very comfortable and not hot to sit in all day. I also had the lumbar added which made for a much more comfortable wheeling day I might add.

Installed my new glovebox, surprisingly well built for smittybilt and 15mins install can't be beat.
Also hacked some rotopax mounts using some 2" clamps I had laying around. I'll only use them when offroading and it saved cargo space.

Was going to replace a couple of my body mounts as the rubber cracked. Can someone tell me how do to replace the upper ones? I am particularly talking about the ones below the doors (middle of jeep). I removed the bolt but I see that the top mount almost comes down through the frame support piece. Do I have to loosen all 3 body mounts (the ones on the side) and jack the body up in order to pull that one mount out?

If I remember correctly, there is a total of 11 body mounts.
5 on either side and 1 under the grille support.
You can do one side at a time but, remember to raise the body up slowly and see if the shifters are binding along with any body-to-frame hoses and wires.
And watch for clearance of the radiator fan and shroud.
A couple extra pair of eyes watching as you go is a big help.

So I need to loosen them all just to replace 1 set?

@Chris has anyone done a write up on replacing body mounts?

My driving cap came in today. It was on sale at ExtremeTerrain. Its a really nice comfortable cap and I quite like it, considering my expectations were a little low. Its got an adjustable band in the back. Would reccomend.

did marblehead again today. first time moms done any trail riding. she said her JK will no way ever go out there.
we both had fun, got into some sticky spots and questionable areas at times but had no issues.. I again stopped short of going down the steps alone, gave my mom a good scare by driving right to the edge and abruptly stopping, she was demanding to get out if i was to go down. connors hole was fun, the water was slapping the bottom of the tub the whole length, didnt get many photos again as avoiding rock was my main priority when on the trails but cant describe how much fun this island is.

Well you might save money doing only what is deemed necessary but, the other body mounts are just as old as the others. And as another hinted, are you planning a body lift in the future.
