Installed Bestop's interior cargo rack. Universal Rack Tray, 41444-01 and Cargo Rack Brackets, 41437-01.

Supposedly, it's not supposed to fit in the LJ's, but if you drill two holes (one on each end) in the rear support bracket it will work. In the picture, the top bracket has two holes; one for TJ's (the outer hole) and on for YJ's (the inner hole). Just line up the bar and mark and drill new holes and use the YJ hole in the bracket. Also, the top clamps were pretty tight and the threaded knobs were not quite long enough. I just replaced them with regular bolts for now and ordered some knobs with longer shanks.

I recently put in LED headlights too, so much better. Still rocking the stock Hellas 500 Fog lights. Actually, replacement ones, but with 100w bulbs.

This morning I stopped to get gas. Took the gas cap off, set it on the tire like a always do, put in my card and PIN number, then it told me to "See Cashier". I got a little upset with that because I don't like going in, and I figured if it didn't work at the pump, it wouldn't work inside either. So I got back in my Jeep and went on to the next station. Well, I normally put the pump hose away, then grab my cap and put it back on. Because I didn't have the hose in my hand, I just turned and got back in the Jeep. Needless to say, I got to the next station several blocks away and realized that I had no gas cap. I also figured that because it was on the tire, it was probably history.

Anyway, LOL, I went and bought a new cap and of course it didn't have a teather and the parts guy (fellow Jeeper) looked at the aftermarket tether they sell there, and confirmed that wouldn't work for the cap I bought. He came up with this idea and I thought it was a good idea. :D

I glued a pretty strong magnet to the cap, then put a piece of the soft portion of some velcro I had on it.

Now, if I drive off, the cap should stay with me. At least I hope. :D I may end up shaving some of the velcro stuff off because when I used the magnet with out it, it was hard to pull off, but it a little easier with the velcro. I just didn't want to leave it as it was because it would probably scratch the jeep after pulling on and off every week. :D

Neat idea! a small piece of cotton shirt should be enough to keep it from scratching yet make the magnet hang on a bit tighter.

Why did you decide to swap out the TL knock offs? Something about them you weren't happy with?
I had them for about a year. At first I like them. They’re bright white LEDs that light up everything. I tried adjusting them but I was still getting a ton of high beams back at me. On top of that, the more I saw TJs w stock looking headlights the more I preferred that look. Plus it was fairly inexpensive to get H4 housing such as the Hella Ecode. Haven’t tried it much at night yet but it gives off a warmer beam than the LED bright whites.

Finally pulled the trigger on a Currie Front track bar to replace this Skyjacker piece of crap that mounts in the steering stabilizer bracket.

Should be here on Black Friday. It’ll give me a project while my bride shops.

I sure hope its worth the $$$ and improves how my Jeep drives and steers.

I did the superbright led dash bulbs today, well almost. They short shipped me the 6 I needed for the hvac and consol switches.
I did blue but as others mentioned, the gauge needles are not lit up much. I guess I’ll see how much that bugs me.
