Fucking Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!This morning I stopped to get gas. Took the gas cap off, set it on the tire like a always do, put in my card and PIN number, then it told me to "See Cashier". I got a little upset with that because I don't like going in, and I figured if it didn't work at the pump, it wouldn't work inside either. So I got back in my Jeep and went on to the next station. Well, I normally put the pump hose away, then grab my cap and put it back on. Because I didn't have the hose in my hand, I just turned and got back in the Jeep. Needless to say, I got to the next station several blocks away and realized that I had no gas cap. I also figured that because it was on the tire, it was probably history.
Anyway, LOL, I went and bought a new cap and of course it didn't have a teather and the parts guy (fellow Jeeper) looked at the aftermarket tether they sell there, and confirmed that wouldn't work for the cap I bought. He came up with this idea and I thought it was a good idea.

I glued a pretty strong magnet to the cap, then put a piece of the soft portion of some velcro I had on it.

Now, if I drive off, the cap should stay with me. At least I hope. I may end up shaving some of the velcro stuff off because when I used the magnet with out it, it was hard to pull off, but it a little easier with the velcro. I just didn't want to leave it as it was because it would probably scratch the jeep after pulling on and off every week.

Why did you decide to swap out the TL knock offs? Something about them you weren't happy with? And then swapped out my Trucklite Knock off LEDs for Hella E-codes
I had them for about a year. At first I like them. They’re bright white LEDs that light up everything. I tried adjusting them but I was still getting a ton of high beams back at me. On top of that, the more I saw TJs w stock looking headlights the more I preferred that look. Plus it was fairly inexpensive to get H4 housing such as the Hella Ecode. Haven’t tried it much at night yet but it gives off a warmer beam than the LED bright whites. Why did you decide to swap out the TL knock offs? Something about them you weren't happy with?
