Just curious if others have run into this. Our only actual Jeep service in the valley is ten miles away. Not a thing of course. However, when I called asking for a quote on some service on my 2003 TJ, I was asked about the mileage. I thought it odd as that had no bearing on what I wanted done. She went on to explain that they would not work on any car without a service history (all the work done there since it was born, at least that's the way I read it) that had 100,000 miles or that was 10 years and older. I was surprised to hear this. This is Jeep, this is the mothership. They refused to work on their own product. I told her that if someone had told me that other than them, I wouldn't have believed them. I do most of my own work but I don't have all the knowledge and all the tools or garage room and sometimes I have to have things done by qualified individuals. It appears they won't be those people. I'm guessing they want just the gravy easy work that won't come back to be a problem for them. Or they just don't believe in the Jeep brand. That's Lancaster Hunter Dodge Jeep by the way. I just used their online service schedule just for kicks and it doesn't mention they won't work on it. Yeah, I'm whining a bit.
