What did you do to your TJ today?

Installed a tailgate table.

Took my factory jack out of the Jeep to make sure it functioned. Glad I did, it was very hard to operate. It was a chore to even get it out of the Jeep because I could not get it loosened up and retracted enough to remove it. Ended up lubing it up a bit and running it up and down until it could be operated by hand when it wasn’t under load. I even put it under the rear axle and operated it up and down. It would have been very frustrating to learn that it wasn’t working properly on the side of the road with a flat.
That is a good idea. I'm going to do that as well.

Fun day in the garage on Sunday. Oil change, New oil sending unit, Wire repair and Kicker amp moved, installed a Homelink system for the garage door. Added pic.

Can you tell me more about that homelink and programming it? I have a Sears Craftsman 41A4315-7D garage door opener and I am trying to find out if it is compatible with the homelink system.

Looks good. Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking? I would like to do something similar.
Bought it on Amazon. Install was straight forward. found power at an unused connector to the right of the steering column.

After install, I couldn’t get it connect. Went to the website and they had a video to walk you thru It. I have a craftsman unit also. Not sure what model I have, check the website for a compatible chart. If you have a car that uses a home link, I would think it would work.

Finally took the time to black out the chrome. Wasn't fully committed to covering the white ring around the knobs until now. I slapped a matte black decal on the left one as a test run. I like it! Now to just pain the white rings.

Did you use decals for all of the chrome? Where did you get those? I used a paint pen for the horizontal trim parts between the buttons, but I was hesitant to do the same for the knobs.

I'm a day late on posting this, but my driveshafts came in the mail this weekend so I installed the rear, front will be put in its place possibly this weekend. I finished slapping the rear brakes and rotors on. Got the e-brake cables installed and dialed in. That was trickier than I had planned. Jeep is now "standing" on its own weight since about Oct.

Last week I got the 5.9 set in where it's going to live for the final time and mated to the trans. Just need to finish putting all the extras (alternator, steering pump, ect) put on.
